Doing Something About It – Action Not Words.

“Pay less attention to what men say. Just watch what they do.”—Dale Carnegie

When people are struggling, words alone cannot better their lives. Actions are needed. One of the actions taken to help the impoverished students is known as the Food for School initiative (FFS).  The FFS provides food for students who are dropping out of school because of hunger, so they can go back to the classroom and finish what they started. The overwhelming majority of the students live with mothers, who are widowed or abandoned by their husbands—and don’t have the means to support their children’s education.
