Rotary International Gen. Sec. John Hewko and I at Rotaract Pre-Convention in Toronto, Canada.Peter speaking at the Heart-to-Heart event in Adjara organized by Rotaract Clubs of Benin Republic. The rotaractors fundraised and delivered tons of food and medical supplies to the orphans, abandoned children, malnourished babies and their impoverished mothers. Considering that African Rotary Clubs have VERY LIMITED resources (compared to the more affluent countries in North America, Europe, etc), I’m amazed and deeply moved by how much Rotaract clubs in Benin Republic are able to accomplish with very little resources. Imagine how much bigger impact they would have with global Rotaract partnerships!!! At the Heart-to-Heart “Rotaract Action” in Adjara, December 2019.
