Dear friends and supporters, please help us to help this woman, a widow of two children.  Her name is Alphonsine. She fell off a motorbike causing internal bleeding and a broken arm, as shown in the photos. Because of the accident, she was unable to provide for her children and they dropped out of school.

Rethink Africa has helped to support her children’s education and they’re back in school.

However, their mother’s situation remains critical. Doctors have recommended surgeries, but there’s no fund.  She urgently needs funds for the surgeries, so she can get her life back. Otherwise, a young hardworking woman might become a beggar for life – assuming the pains didn’t kill her.
